Burj Khalifa during the day and at night photo-montage

Posted by ybouane

I took two drone shots at the same location but one during the day and one during the night to create this effect.

Should I do more stuff like this?

It's nice! I do notice however that the bottom building isn't aligned properly between the two pictures. Maybe the drone wasn't at the exact same location? What drone did you use by the way?

It looks great, but the night portion is pretty small. I think you could touch it up more and make the emphasis much more prettier. Maybe long exposure?

Thank for the feedback. For the long exposure I'll have to look through it, I'm not sure my drone has such a feature.  — ybouane keyboard_arrow_up 1 keyboard_arrow_down

I love the photo, although some aspects of it don't seem as natural as it should

I think It's the colourful lights in the night side that give it that look.  — ybouane keyboard_arrow_up 1 keyboard_arrow_down

It's cool.

But would I buy it? No.

At least this particular instance, no. there is kind of a fog all over and images don't blend particularly well.

The idea/concept is interesting however.

Yeah, I have to improve the positioning so that everything is actually aligned!  — ybouane
